Welcome to Dowerin Dirt Kart Club (DDKC).

DDKC is a fun, friendly "no frills' club, with plenty of space for everyone and is located around 1 hour 45 minutes from Midland (north of Dowerin)  

DDKC is affiliated with The Wheatbelt Dirt Kart Association (WDKA) which is a regional, Western Australia-only governing body that manages affordable, family-friendly dirt go-kart racing across regional tracks. It functions independently from the national dirt racing body, Australian Independent Dirt Kart Association (AIDKA).

What clubs are associated with Wheatbelt Dirt Kart Association (WDKA)

The WDKA oversees competitive and social racing events hosted by four primary regional clubs: 

1. Dowerin: Dowerin Dirt Kart Club.

2. Bencubbin: Mt Marshall & Districts Kart Club.

3. Jurien Bay: Jurien Bay Kart Club. 

    4. Goomalling: Goomalling Dirt Kart Club.

    What is the Driver Entry & Licensing Rules

    • Age Requirements: Drivers can enter competitive classes starting from 7 years old. 
    • Club Memberships: Drivers must first join one of the four affiliated regional clubs before applying for an annual association racing license. 
    • Casual Licenses: Single-day licenses can be purchased at the track for casual or one-off race day entries. 
    • Class Divisions: Kart racing categories are structurally sorted based on driver age, engine output specifications, and overall weight limits.
